About Do.Think.Learn
Do.Think.Learn began with a question, “Can you teach our son?” And like many great bands and companies, Do.Think.Learn started in a garage. Since 2017 we have worked to change education one student at time. These days we have a nice office and more students, but our goal is the same. We know if we’ve done our job when students look up from a project and say, “Yeah, I got this.”
About J. Juelis, Ph.D.
I've been teaching inside and outside of classrooms for the last twenty years. In those years, I have taught 4th grade thru 12th grade and spent several years in multi-age classrooms. Throughout that time I have worked in a variety of educational settings from independent schools with considerable wealth to alternative schools with minimal resources and schools somewhere in between. After teaching middle school at a nontraditional progressive school in California, I set out on my own to provide educational services to better meet the needs of students.
For me education comes down to three things. First, to make sure every student has access to a quality education so they can be successful in whatever future they choose. Second, that with high expectations and high levels of support, students can achieve more than we think. Third, learning should be fun, challenging, and engage students. Inside of school or outside the learning environment, students can push beyond preconceived limits and discover all that they are capable of in school and beyond.
